JCPenney clearly wants to re-establish itself as an ally to the disability community, so in efforts to be apart of the conversation, the department store, announced its whereabouts and upcoming happenings by creating thereabouts. thereabouts, is a unique twist that grants affordable clothing for those who may identify as disabled.

thereabouts is said to target kids with sensory, dexterity or mobility needs featuring sensory-friendly seaming, hidden access and limited tags. they also added adaptive accessories on their site by partnering with inclusive brands like PunkinFutz, BeedleBug, Max & Me and Myself Belts through a collaboration with Patti and Ricky, an adaptive fashion marketplace.
